Composition:Depoxetine  : Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Daoixetine Hydrochloride INN equivalent to Dapoxetine 30mg.

Pharmacological Information:Dapoxetine Hydrochloride is a white powder substance and water-soluble. Dapoxetine Hydrochloride works by inhibiting the serotonin transporter, increasing serotonin”s action at the post cyanotic cleft and as a consequence prompting ejaculatory delay .Dapoxetine Hydrochloride is absorbed and eliminated rapidly from the body .Its fast acting property makes it for the treatment of premature ejaculation. Dapoxetine Hydrochloride is distributed rapidly in the body. Greater that 99% of Dapoxetine Hydrochloride is bound to the plasma protein. The mean steady state volume is 162L. Its initial half-life is 1.31hours.Dapoxetine Hydrochloride is metabolized extensively in the liver and kidney by multiple enzymes such as CyP2D6,CyP3A4, and flavin monooxygenase 1 (FMO1)

Clinical Information:Indications and  Usage: DEPOXETINE  is indicated for the treatment of- Premature ejaculation, Poor control over ejaculation Dosage and Administration: The recommended starting dose for all patients is 30mg, taken as needed approximately 30-60 minutes prior to sexual activity. Dose may be increased to the maximum recommended of 60 mg . Contracations:Dapoxetine Hydrochlride is contraindicated to whom who has hyper sensitivity to it or any component of this product. Precautions: Dapoxetine Hydrochloride is only indicated in men with premature ejaculation. Drug Interaction: Potential serious reactions with MAOIs. Inhibits metabolism of thioridazine. Risk of serotonergic-assocated effects with serotonergic medicinal/herbal products(including L-tryptophans, tramadol, linezolid,SSRIs, SNRIs, Lithium & St. john”s wort prep). CNS –active medicinal products. Possible reduction of clearance with CYPD6, CYP3A4 & flavin monooxygenase 1 inhibitors.
